- First and foremost, before you use your new kitchen bakeware for the very first time, you should wash the bakeware thoroughly in warm water and mild dish washing detergent. It is not advisable to wash non-stick bakeware in a dishwasher, or to use the abrasive oven cleaners. After cleaning, dry them thoroughly and promptly.
- The same should be done after cooking. In case food remains, make a mixture of vinegar and water and boil, and then use it to get the food off.
- Before using copper coated kitchen bakeware, you should remove the protective coat by dissolving 3 parts of hot water and 3 tablespoons of baking soda, and allow the bakeware to soak in the solution for at least 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly in cold water and then dry promptly and thoroughly.
- In case your kitchen bakeware or espresso maker develops stain that is not coming off easily, it is known as a hard-anodized stain. Make a paste of water and baking soda and apply over the affected parts before scrubbing using a non-abrasive plastic mesh puff. Avoid using steel wool or hard scouring pads
- A solution of lemon juice and vinegar could be used to remove stainless steel non-stick
