Kitchen Bakeware Cleaning Tips

The many different types of foods we bake can stain your expensive kitchen bakeware. Problem is, after savoring a delicious meal; you have to get your bakeware clean for the next cooking. Here are some important tips that you can apply to get the stains and left-over foods off your bakeware and ensure they remain durable for long.

 
-         First and foremost, before you use your new kitchen bakeware for the very first time, you should wash the bakeware thoroughly in warm water and mild dish washing detergent. It is not advisable to wash non-stick bakeware in a dishwasher, or to use the abrasive oven cleaners. After cleaning, dry them thoroughly and promptly.
-         The same should be done after cooking. In case food remains, make a mixture of vinegar and water and boil, and then use it to get the food off.
-         Before using copper coated kitchen bakeware, you should remove the protective coat by dissolving 3 parts of hot water and 3 tablespoons of baking soda, and allow the bakeware to soak in the solution for at least 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly in cold water and then dry promptly and thoroughly.
-         In case your kitchen bakeware or espresso maker develops stain that is not coming off easily, it is known as a hard-anodized stain. Make a paste of water and baking soda and apply over the affected parts before scrubbing using a non-abrasive plastic mesh puff. Avoid using steel wool or hard scouring pads
-         A solution of lemon juice and vinegar could be used to remove stainless steel non-stick
 
Be advised that some kitchen bakeware materials are discouraged from being used in the dishwasher as it can lead to color change due to the high temperatures and harsh washing detergents. Ensure you read the labels carefully before cleaning any kitchen bakeware, lest you clean the beauty and durability of your expensive kitchen bakeware. Be advised that there are some types of food that stain bakewares more than others. As such, for you to be able to know how to clean the stains, you should know how to cook the foods first.
